The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy (effectiveness) and tolerability (how well a participant can stand a particular medicine or treatment; ability to be used) of bortezomib in combination with rituximab standard therapy (medicine or medical care given to a participant for a disease or condition) in participants with relapsed or refractory (not responding to treatment) follicular lymphoma (a cancer of the lymph nodes \[or tissues\] in follicle).

The investigator prospectively evaluated the combination of Rituximab and Dexa-BEAM (dexamethasone, carmustine, etoposide, cytarabine, melphalan) followed by high dose therapy in patients with relapsed/refractory aggressive and indolent lymphoma.

This study evaluates the safety and efficacy of plerixafor given in addition to granulocyte-colony stimulating factor (G-CSF) for collection of peripheral blood stem cells (PBSCs) for autologous transplantation in patients with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) and multiple myeloma (MM). Efficacy outcomes include evaluation of fold increase in circulating CD34+ cells from just before the first plerixafor injection to 10-11 hours post plerixafor (just before apheresis) and assessment of successful polymorphonuclear leukocyte (PMN) engraftment after transplantation. Data from this protocol will assist in the determination of the dosing schedule for future studies.
