NCT00089570
The purpose of this study is to determine whether terlipressin is safe and effective in the treatment of patients with hepatorenal syndrome (HRS) type 1 when compared to placebo.
NCT00064753
The purpose of this randomized clinical trial is to determine if lowering homocysteine levels in renal transplant recipients with a multivitamin will reduce the occurrence of cardiovascular disease outcomes.
NCT02490202
Safety and efficacy study of SANGUINATE on reduction of delayed graft function (DGF) in patients who will be recipients of a donation after brain death (DBD) donor kidney.
NCT00920764
The study objective is to investigate the effects of three low doses of atrasentan on urinary albumin/creatinine ratio (UACR) levels in subjects with Type 2 diabetic nephropathy. Patients with Type 2 diabetes with nephropathy must be receiving a renin-angiotensin system inhibitor, such as an Angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor (ACEi) or an Angiotensin II Receptor Blocker (ARB) for participation in this study. ACEi and ARB treatment are the standard of care for the management of proteinuria in Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) patients.
NCT01460134
This is a study of CDX-1127, a therapy that targets the immune system and may act to promote anti-cancer effects. The study enrolls patients with hematologic cancers (certain leukemias and lymphomas), as well as patients with select types of solid tumors.
NCT02312050
A phase 2b, placebo-controlled, randomized, double-blind, multi-center study of GCS-100 in patients with chronic kidney disease caused by diabetes. The study will enroll approximately 375 patients at multiple centers located in the United States. Study duration is 6 months. Patients will be randomly assigned 1:1:1:1 to treatment with placebo (0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection, USP), 1 mg, 3 mg, or 9 mg GCS-100. All doses of study drug will be administered via intravenous (IV) push injection once weekly for 2 months (8 weeks), then every other week for an additional 4 months (16 weeks).
NCT01621178
The purpose of this study is to determine the glycemic efficacy and safety of dulaglutide compared to insulin glargine in the treatment of participants with type 2 diabetes and moderate or severe chronic kidney disease.
NCT01473420
The purpose of this study is to demonstrate therapeutic equivalence of subcutaneous (SC) Epoetin Hospira compared to SC Epogen (Amgen), based on maintenance of hemoglobin (Hb) levels and study drug dose requirements in patients treated for anemia associated with chronic renal failure and on hemodialysis.
NCT01907802
This phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of dabrafenib in treating patients with solid tumors and kidney or liver dysfunction. Dabrafenib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.
NCT00861029
This is a Phase I, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, study to estimate the effects of daily oral dosing of 800 mg pazopanib on electrocardiographic parameters (QTc interval duration) as compared with placebo in subjects with solid tumors. Moxifloxacin, will serve as a positive control.
NCT02833857
This is a study to evaluate the safety and pharmacokinetics in pediatric patients with secondary hyperparathyroidism receiving a single dose of etelcalcetide at the end of hemodialysis.
NCT01544491
The purpose of this study is to determine if everolimus combined with reduced exposure CNI (TAC) is efficacious and safe and will support corticosteroid elimination compared to a standard exposure CNI (TAC) + MMF + steroid regimen after paediatric kidney transplantation. An additional purpose of the study is to assess the effect of the combination of EVR and reduced exposure CNI (TAC) on renal function. This study is part of the requirements of the Paediatric Investigational Plan approved by Paediatric Committee at the European Medicines Agency (PDCO/EMA) on September 10, 2010, and is intended to support the indication of everolimus in the prevention of acute rejection in paediatric recipients of a renal transplant.
NCT01762592
Study WX-20-002 will confirm diagnostic efficacy and safety of a PET/CT scan using Iodine (124I) Girentuximab performed during the diagnostic work-up in patients with indeterminate cT1-renal masses.
NCT00604565
In maintenance hemodialysis patients, regular administration of parenteral iron by addition of soluble ferric pyrophosphate (SFP) to the dialysate, when compared to conventional dialysate, is effective in preventing the development of iron deficiency, thereby maintaining hemoglobin level; is clinically safe and does not lead to oxidative stress or inflammation.
NCT01503021
The purpose of the parent study is to assess the short-term safety and tolerability of soluble ferric pyrophosphate (SFP) in dialysate administered to a large number of representative adult chronic kidney disease patients on hemodialysis (CKD-HD). The purpose of the extension study is to assess the long-term safety and tolerability of SFP.
NCT02492672
The current registry is being undertaken to assess the long-term (12 month) safety and tolerability of Venofer in the pediatric population with chronic kidney disease that requires intravenous iron maintenance therapy.
NCT00726323
This clinical study is being conducted at multiple sites to determine the best confirmed response rate, safety, and tolerability of GSK1363089 treatment in papillary renal cell carcinoma. Papillary renal cell carcinoma may be classified into hereditary and sporadic forms; subjects with either classification will be accepted into this study.
