hypertensive disorder
uncontrolled hypertension or known hypersensitivity to ergot derivatives
History of cardiac valvular disorders
history of pulmonary fibrosis
documented bipolar schizophrenia
documented allergy to medication, including lactose intolerance (placebo pill involves lactose)
