Inclusion Criteria

•children with alveolar cleft
•patient presented at least three deciduous teeth scheduled for extraction.

Exclusion Criteria

•major relevant clinical diseases,
•systemic use of steroids,
•current or previous intravenous bisphosphonate treatment,
•acute infection at the operation site.
