NCT07038369
This is a Phase 1, open-label study to evaluate the safety and tolerability of ATV-1601 administered orally in adults with AKT1 E17K-mutant, advanced solid tumors and also in HR+/HER2- advanced and metastatic breast cancer, with or without fulvestrant.
NCT07382505
This study aims to evaluate the clinical performance of blood-based Minimal Residual Disease (MRD) testing using circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) in patients with endometrial and cervical cancer. The researchers will investigate whether MRD detection can identify cancer recurrence earlier than current standard imaging or clinical methods (providing a "lead time"). Participants will undergo blood collection at specific time points, including at diagnosis, after surgery, and during regular follow-up visits. The study will also assess the correlation between MRD status and survival outcomes, such as Relapse-Free Survival (RFS) and Overall Survival (OS). The goal is to establish a foundation for personalized treatment strategies based on molecular monitoring.
NCT04579380
This trial studies how well tucatinib works for solid tumors that make either more HER2 or a different type of HER2 than usual (HER2 alterations) The solid tumors studied in this trial have either spread to other parts of the body (metastatic) or cannot be removed completely with surgery (unresectable). All participants will get both tucatinib and trastuzumab. People with hormone-receptor positive breast cancer will also get a drug called fulvestrant. The trial will also look at what side effects happen. A side effect is anything a drug does besides treating cancer.
NCT03624712
Evaluation of clinical, therapeutic and prognostic relevance of new experimental results as well as optimization of therapeutic models and development of a new algorithm for therapeutic plan and therapy in patients with uterine neoplasm
NCT04679675
The Self-Testing options in the Era of Primary HPV screening for cervical cancer (STEP) trial will evaluate effectiveness of home-based HPV kits for improving cervical cancer screening uptake and its cost-effectiveness. The investigators will compare cervical cancer screening uptake within six months among women randomized to different outreach approaches based on prior screening behavior: A) Adherent and coming due: direct mail HPV kit vs. opt-in HPV kit vs. education; B) Overdue: direct mail HPV kit vs. education; C) Unknown: opt-in HPV kit vs. education.
NCT00188695
The purpose of this study is to test whether or not a new contrast agent called Combidex, a contrast agent formulated from ultra-small superparamagnetic iron oxide (USPIO) improves the ability of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) to see lymph nodes in the pelvis. It might also help doctors tell whether or not cancer has spread to these lymph nodes. It might allow radiotherapy to be delivered more accurately.
NCT04063072
The study assesses the impact on quality of care of implementing the ERAS (Enhanced Recovery After Surgery) protocol for hysterectomy of benign or malignant tumors of the uterus in the network of public hospitals in the Regione Piemonte (North-West Italy). Every hospital is a cluster entering the study treating patients according to its current clinical practice. On the basis of a randomized order, each hospital switches from current clinical practice to the adoption of the ERAS protocol.
NCT03951415
The DOMEC trial is designed as a Dutch Gynecological Oncology Group (DGOG), prospective, multi-center, phase II study for 55 patients with advanced (recurrent, refractory or metastatic) endometrial cancer or carcinosarcoma of the uterus to investigate the efficacy of the combination therapy of olaparib tablets and durvalumab IV.
NCT03971032
The aim of the current study is to develop a near real-time system using infrared spectroscopy, that will evaluate the histological specimen that was removed from the uterine cavity during the hysteroscopy.
NCT02444195
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of self-administered perioperative guided imagery to reduce perioperative distress in gynecologic oncology patients undergoing surgical management for a presumed cancer diagnosis.
NCT02374411
The goal of this survey of international HIPEC (Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy) surgeons is to determine their knowledge of and attitudes towards the nutritional support needs of HIPEC patients and what their practice patterns are with this patient population.
NCT00188578
Standard treatment for gynecological cancer is radiation therapy in two phases; whole pelvic radiation and then an internal radiation boost, also called a brachytherapy boost, to treat any remaining tumour. The purpose of this study is to test an alternative radiation boost treatment called conformal intensity modulated radiation therapy or IMRT. Currently, we do not have complete information on the overall effectiveness of IMRT compared to brachytherapy or conformal radiotherapy. We know that IMRT allows the radiation beams to be more accurately focused on the tumor, thereby sparing more normal tissue from radiation damage and lowering risks of side effects. We are investigating the extent to which IMRT can be used to protect normal tissues in patients with cervix, uterine or vaginal cancer from the radiation beams and how much the side effects of radiation are reduced.
NCT01969396
To assess the adequacy of an endometrial biopsy sample obtained using sonohysterography.
NCT00231855
The primary aim of this study is: * To determine the overall clinical response rate of weekly Topotecan and Taxotere in women with recurrent ovarian, primary peritoneal, endometrial and uterine cancers. The secondary aims of this study are: * To evaluate the safety and tolerability of the combination therapy with weekly Topotecan and Taxotere in patients with recurrent ovarian, primary peritoneal, endometrial or uterine cancers. * To determine the progression free survival and overall survival in women treated with weekly Topotecan and Taxotere in patients with recurrent ovarian, primary peritoneal, endometrial and uterine cancers who have been previously treated with chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy.
NCT00377520
The intent of this protocol is to screen a new agent for activity in patients with advanced or recurrent endometrial carcinoma. This phase II trial is studying how well pemetrexed disodium works in treating patients with advanced or recurrent endometrial carcinoma.
NCT00782041
Primary: * To assess the overall response rate of oxaliplatin in patients with bidimensionally measurable disease at baseline. Secondary: * To assess the safety and tolerability of oxaliplatin * To assess time to progression and overall survival.
NCT00090389
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of acupuncture in treating women's health conditions.
