This clinical trial aims to evaluate and compare the efficacy and safety of CartiPRO, an approved intra-articular atelocollagen injection, versus Synovian injection for the relief of knee pain in patients with knee osteoarthritis. The investigational device is administered intra-articularly, with a second injection given 24 weeks after the first dose. Primary and secondary endpoints include changes in pain scores (VAS), functional assessments (WOMAC, SF-36), and safety evaluations over a 36-week period.

The goal was to see how much pain and joint function improved, and to check for any side effects.

The study is a single-center, retrospective and prospective, non-randomized, non-controlled and consecutive series post-market study. The purpose of this study is to confirm safety, performance and clinical benefits of the NexGen TM Augmentation Patella. The primary objective is the assessment of safety by analyzing implant survivorship. This will be established by recording the incidence and frequency of revisions, complications and adverse events. Relation of the events to implant, instrumentation and/or procedure should be specified. The secondary objective is the assessment of performance and clinical benefits by recording patient-reported clinical outcome measures (PROMs) as well as radiographic outcomes.

The use of a topical medication was compared to placebo to be applied over the symptomatic temporomandibular joint in women with the diagnosis of osteoarthritis of the temporomandibular joint(s). The purpose of this pilot study is to conduct research to determine the most effective physical therapy treatment for a condition called shoulder impingement. This condition occurs when tissue in the shoulder is caught between the humerus (arm bone) and the scapula (shoulder blade). This causes pain when one tries to reach overhead or behind the back. Two treatment methods will be used in the study. The first method uses the traditional treatments of hands-on shoulder stretching, shoulder exercise, posture, and education. The second method will use the traditional methods of shoulder treatment in addition to treatment of the cervical spine. It is hypothesized that a group of patients between 40 and 70 years of age with signs and symptoms of shoulder impingement who receive physical therapy to the cervical spine and shoulder will report a higher level of functioning, will report less pain, and will gain more range of motion than a group of patients receiving physical therapy solely to the shoulder.

Pain, weakness, instability, and progressive dysfunction are the hallmarks of arthritis of the knee. Total knee replacement may frequently be the only therapeutic intervention to provide adequate improvement in pain and function. Both fixed bearing and mobile bearing knees have a long track record of clinical success. Mobile bearing designs have theoretical advantages of decreased contact stresses on the tibial tray, decreased polyethylene wear, and improved range of motion relative to fixed bearing designs. These theoretical advantages may become especially important in the young patient who requires a knee arthroplasty. This study will attempt to see if there is a clinical difference in outcome between mobile bearing and fixed bearing knee arthroplasties in patients who require total knee replacement.
